I would like to give you some of my special tips to help in making your smartphone's battery last longer!🤳 You all know me, with my non-stop, busy days, I need my phone to be available to use at all times!
Tip #1: A good way to boost battery life and to also get the most out of your phone's battery is to keep your phone charged between 50 to 80% of the phone's battery life.🔋 Also it's important to not let your phone reach 20% or below that level. Even worse, if you drain it out completely, Settle with shorter mini charges to allow you to maintain it's maximum charging capacity.
Tip #2: Try to avoid cheap or off-brand replacement chargers from a convenience store.🔌 A lot of times they aren't calibrated correctly and can even end up doing more harm to your battery than good. It's always best to order a replacement charger from your phone's manufacturer. You can do so by checking your phone's manufacturer's official website.
Tip #3: Find a way to avoid high heat and direct sunlight to get the most out of your phone's battery.🔥☀️ Believe it or not, your phone is kind of like a vampire in a way. This is because the heat ends up speeding up the chemical reactions in the phone's battery, which can end up damaging and aging the battery over time. Did you know that even storing your phone in your pocket can shorten the battery life due to your body heat?😱 The best advice is to store the phone in a purse or bag, and some purses even have a pocket for your phone.👜 For you guys, I recommend buying a phone case holster with a clip and clipping the phone on either a belt, or the waist of your pants.👖
Tip #4: One of the most dangerous places to keep your phone is in the bathroom, because it is easy to accidentally knock or drop your phone into the toilet, bath or even the sink. 🚻 If you must use it in the bathroom, keep your phone protected by getting a cellphone holder for it. Even ones made for your car or desk work great. If you did end up dropping the phone into water, allow rice to come to the rescue!🍚 Start by drying the phone off with a towel and then turning your phone off. Next, place your phone into a bag of uncooked rice (if you don't have a bag for the rice, put the rice and phone in either a zip-lock bag or a plastic Tupperware container with a lid), and leave your phone in the rice for at least 24hrs. What this does is allow the rice to absorb the water that could still be inside your phone.
Tip #5: Lower the brightness of your phone or put it into power-saving mode. Using a bright screen not only drains out the battery a lot faster, but can also expose you to more radiation from the phone. Another little thing that could help, besides just the brightness and power-sharing mode, is to put your phone on airplane mode when traveling by plane, as well as taking your phone off WI-FI mode when you aren't using it.📴
