🌠Set Realistic Goals for Yourself🌠
For the person who has been fired, or has cancer, or has lost a spouse, it is not realistic to say, “I want my old life back.” That will not happen. Your ‘old life’ is gone. It is not that that the new life you have is bad, it’s just different.
That’s when you decide that you will do the best with the new life you have. How can you improve your situation? What can you do to find your happiness. Once you’ve decided what you want, and if that is realistic, sit down and spend some time thinking about it. Write down your thoughts.
Writing them down, or typing them into the computer, is important! Any idea seems much more real once it’s recorded somewhere. Just remember:” If you don’t know what you want, you’ll never get it.”🏝
If what you want is a new job, ask yourself why, and write that down. List the pros and cons of a new job. The pros might include a better salary, more job satisfaction, better benefits or job security, or a step toward a long-term goal. On the con side, you might list a loss of seniority, longer commute time, possible relocation, or I need to learn a new skill. 🎨✈🚖🚓🚔🛳
Now look at your list, and ask yourself again, is this really what I want? Or can you achieve the items on your list and your present job by learning to get your own way? From there, you can make the best decisions for your life. 🏘🏘
🎰Wishing you all a wonderful and fabulous day full of blessings coming your way!🎰
